Chase Sapphire partnered with Outside Lands to create exclusive ticketing benefits for cardholders. Through the Chase Ultimate Reward platform, fans were able to use their points to purchase discounted Eager Beaver Tickets (early bird), GA Tickets, VIP Tickets and Luxury Cabana Packages (each including a complimentary festival merch package). Their Ultimate Rewards platform was also the sole destination for tickets to the Feast in the Trees Culinary Experience featuring celebrity chefs in an intimate setting.
Onsite at the Festival, we built a two story Cardholder Lounge with prime viewing of a festival stage. Fans received daily push notifications to alert them of featured complimentary daily happy hours serving up Taste of the Bay favorites such as as Woodhouse Lobster rolls with Seismic's Alluvium Pilsner and Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream with Lady Falcon Irish Coffee cocktails. An all-hours espresso bar gave fans a chance to Instagram custom foam art featuring Outside Lands IP images. Other lounge perks included elevated restrooms, wifi, charging stations, and a live feed of the main stage.
Chase was positioned as the preferred payment partner of Outside Lands everywhere credit cards were accepted -- over 250 various points of sale throughout the festival grounds. Fans who used their Chase Credit Card at festival merchandise stands were treated to 15% off all items.
