Capital One participated in the inaugural Grandoozy Festival to celebrate current cardholders and to reach new customers. Before tickets went on sale to the general public, Grandoozy featured a digital pre-sale exclusive to Capital One Cardholders. The presale included GA, VIP and Super VIP tickets, which included festival merchandise, food vouchers redeemable at concession stands festival wide, and side stage viewing for an artist performance, including notables acts like Phoenix and Mavis Staples.
Capital One had two experience onsite at Grandoozy. To showcase their Venture card to potential customers we set up a dome, with activities including henna tattoos, branded giveaways, and Fancy Toast bites from Denver food favorite and Top Chef Contestant Carrie Baird. Their other experience was a three-story lounge exclusive to cardholders, complete with prime views of the mainstage, DJs spinning in between acts, Peaks Popsicles, water refill stations, and a meet and greet with the band Young The Giant. Capital One was positioned as the preferred payment partner of Grandoozy everywhere credit cards were accepted.
